About the Department |

To improve the quality of care for acute and critically-ill patients in Hualien, our hospital established the Intensive Care Center in 2011. The Center provides professional intensive care medical care in the acute phase for critically-ill patients from various departments.
Our hospital’s ICU environment is clean and bright, with humanized design. The center is staffed with four full-time attending physicians to provide 24-hour on-site consultations every day to directly treat patients, effectively improve the treatment process and efficiency, and improve the medical quality of the intensive care unit. It cooperates with the attending physicians, nurses, pharmacists, nutritionists, respiratory therapists, rehabilitators, radiologists, social workers, care attendants, and secretaries to perform their own duties and implement division of labor to provide the most powerful and advanced professional services to ensure the safety and lives of patients.
The Center also provides 24/7 services and health educational materials related to various departments and diseases. |
