About the Department |
|
The Department is equipped with a specific endoscopy room and abdominal ultrasound room. Notably, it has accumulated rich clinical experiences in treating tens of thousands of cases.The Department’s services include upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy and related treatments, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography and related treatments (including bile duct stone removal, bile duct stent placement), esophageal stent placement, abdominal ultrasound examination, non-invasive FibroScan, ultrasound-guided liver biopsy, ultrasound-guided percutaneous abscess drainage, ultrasound-guided radiofrequency ablation (RFA) of liver tumors, and percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy (PEG). |

Abdominal Color Doppler ultrasound (with liver fibrosis detection function), colored electronic upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy, and various endoscopic hemostatic devices, such as thermal probes, monopolar or bipolar electrocautery devices for hemostasis, argon plasma coagulation (APC) devices for hemostasis, hemostatic clip (Hemoclip), gastrointestinal polypectomy knife, endoscopic esophageal variceal ligation devices, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), bile duct stone extractor, and bile duct lithotripsy. |
