* About the Department
Ophthalmology is a complex and delicate medicine.Hence, the Department’s team is comprised of senior attending physicians with rich clinical experiences. The Department provides high-quality medical services for common eye diseases and other serious and rare eye diseases.Not only that it pursues to diagnose and treat eye diseases, but it also aims to make a significant contribution by assisting other departments in diagnosing systemic diseases and observing therapeutic effects.Furthermore, the Department offers many examination items—hence, the work is elaborate and complicated. Meanwhile, the Department’s teaching and requirements for residents and interns mainly involve basic knowledge of medicine, diagnosis, and treatment. Moreover, in pursuit of cultivating talents with comprehensive knowledge in ophthalmology, residents and interns are requested to observe more cases and learn the use of equipment.
